First ‘31’ Trailer Introduces Rob Zombie’s Carnival of Terror

rob zombie - 31

Fans of musician turned filmmaker Rob Zombie, you’re up.

The first official trailer for Zombie’s upcoming horror film 31 has been released, and it looks as messed up as you’d expect it to.

31 tells of what goes down when a group of carnival workers are kidnapped by deranged psychos and forced to play a game of life or death. Basically, they have to survive in a carnival of terror for 12 hours. Crimson showers ensue.

So far, this looks like it fits firmly within the universe he’s established with previous features House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, and Lords of Salem. Fans of Zombie’s brand of horror will no doubt be lining up for this one.

31, starring Sheri Moon Zombie, Meg Foster, Elizabeth Daily, Sandra Rosko, Malcolm McDowell and Richard Brake, will open in U.S. cinemas on October 21.

Synopsis for 31:

From the visionary mind of the man who brought us House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects and Halloween comes the horrific story of five carnival workers who are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large compound. At the mercy of their captors, they are forced to play a twisted game of life or death called 31. For the next 12 hours they must fight for their lives against an endless parade of homicidal maniacs.
