More footage from upcoming horror sequel A Quiet Place Part II has arrived in a Super Bowl TV spot and a behind-the-scenes featurette.

“We answer all those questions that the audience was asking about,” returning director (and this time sole screenwriter) John Krasinski says in the featurette below. “Day 1, especially. How did this all start?”

Indeed, as that first trailer showed and the new spot unveils more of, at least part of the film will show us what chaos went down when the monsters first turned up. Krasinski will be back in front of the camera during this flashback, reprising his role as father and husband Lee Abbott.

The main plot of the sequel finds the remaining Abbott family members (Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds return) leaving their farm behind and heading into the outside world. Cillian Murphy and Djimon Honusou play two new survivors that the Abbotts meet on the road.

The first film was fantastic (our review is HERE). Let’s hope the follow-up doesn’t disappoint. We’ll find out when A Quiet Place Part II arrives in Australia on March 19 and opens in the US on March 20.
