Final ‘A Working Man’ Trailer: Jason Statham is an Ass-Kicking Construction Worker This Time

The final trailer has landed for A Working Man, the upcoming action-thriller that sees Jason Statham trading in his hard hat for hand-to-hand combat. Directed by David Ayer, the film reunites the Beekeeper duo for another gritty actioner, this time based on Chuck Dixon’s 2014 novel Levon’s Trade.

Statham plays Levon Cade, a former black-ops operative now laying low on a construction crew. When his boss’s daughter—who he considers family—is abducted by human traffickers, Cade does what Statham characters do best: unleash hell. With fists, firearms, and a sledgehammer in tow, he sets out to bring her home, only to uncover a larger, nastier web of corruption.

Joining Statham is a solid supporting cast, including Michael Peña, Jason Flemyng, Merab Ninidze, and David Harbour—who’s nearly unrecognisable as Cade’s no-nonsense ally, Gunny. The film’s screenplay was co-written by Ayer and Sylvester Stallone, marking another Statham-Stallone collaboration following The Expendables and Homefront.

It’s familiar territory for fans of brutal, bare-knuckle justice—but with Statham, Ayer, and Stallone all on board, A Working Man looks set to deliver exactly what it promises.

A Working Man hits Australian cinemas on March 27 and opens in the U.S. and U.K. on March 28.
