‘After We Collided’ Trailer: Dylan Sprouse is the New Guy in Steamy Sequel

Roadshow Films

The trailer has been released for After We Collided, the sequel to 2019 romantic drama After, based on the 2014 romance novel of the same name by Anna Todd.

Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin return as Tess and Hardin in the follow-up, which finds her questioning whether this troubled guy is right for her. Making things all the more complicated is Trevor, played by Dylan Sprouse, her handsome new co-worker – who seems to be the ideal option.

Despite negative reviews, the first film was a success, raking in almost $US70 million worldwide from a $US14 million budget. The trailer below suggests the target audience should be in for a worthy follow up, with more steaminess, good looking people, and swoon-worthy bad boys.

After We Collided, directed by Cruel Intentions helmer (should be well suited, right?) Roger Kumble and also starring Shane Paul McGhie, Louise Lombard, Candice King and Charlie Weber, among others, will be released in Australia in theatres on September 10. No U.S. release date has been locked in as yet.

Official synopsis for After We Collided:

Hardin will always be… Hardin. But is he really the deep, thoughtful guy Tessa fell madly in love with— or has he been a stranger all along? She wishes she could walk away. It’s just not that easy. Not with the memory of the passionate nights they spent together. Still, Tessa’s not sure she can endure one more broken promise. She’s focused on her studies and just starting an exciting new internship at Vance Publishing. She’s also being pursued by Trevor, a handsome new co-worker who is exactly the kind of guy she should be with. Hardin knows he made a mistake, possibly the biggest one of his life. He wants to right his wrongs and overcome his demons. He’s not going to lose Tessa without a fight. But can he change? Will he change… for love? AFTER WE COLLIDED… Life will never be the same.
