Looks like American Horror Story is getting all Friday the 13th.

FX has released a new teaser trailer for American Horror Story: 1984, teasing what may be a campy slasher chapter in the anthology horror series. The plot details have been kept hidden for the next season of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s award-winning show, but perhaps the following has the answers.

The new teaser takes us right back to an 80s-style slasher film firmly in the vain of the Jason Voorhees franchise. As tracks from the Motels and John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band belt out, we see a group of teens excited as they drive towards Camp Redwood. Oh, and there’s a killer hanging underneath the pickup. And in case you really hadn’t gotten the Friday the 13th vibe, the trailer culminates with a killer rising out of a lake to attack a girl in a canoe.

Emma Roberts, Cody Fern, Gus Kenworthy, Billie Lourd, Matthew Morrison, Angelica Ross, DeRon Horton and Zach Villa will star in the new season. According Deadline, longtime AHS cast member Sarah Paulson will indeed by back, albeit in a smaller part “as she takes on the lead role in Murphy’s Netflix series Ratched.”

American Horror Story: 1984 will premiering on FX on September 18.
