With Andor’s second and final season on the horizon, Disney+ has dropped a “Special Look” video – a featurette giving fans a bigger glimpse at what’s to come. A brand-new poster has also been unveiled. Watch the Special Look video above and check out the poster below.
The video blends cast and crew insights with behind-the-scenes footage and dramatic snippets from the upcoming episodes, teasing the rising tensions, betrayals, and all-out war that will shape Cassian’s journey to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. “Revolutionary movements are spontaneously happening all over the galaxy,” says Andor creator/writer/executive producer Tony Gilroy. “How those come together is the stuff of our story.”

“If season 1 laid the track, then season 2 is the juggernaut,” says Genevieve O’Reilly, returning as Mon Mothma. The Rebellion is no longer just an idea—it’s becoming an army, and Cassian is right in the thick of it. “This is the end,” says star Diego Luna, reprising his lead role for what – at least for now – appears to be the last time. “Have no expectations.”
This last season will unfold across 12 episodes, structured into four three-episode arcs. Each chapter will take the story closer to the events of Rogue One, bridging the gap between Cassian’s transformation from survivor to soldier – or, as Stellan Skarsgård’s Luthen Rael reminds him to think like, a leader.
Returning cast members include Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay, and Forest Whitaker. This season also sees Ben Mendelsohn return as Orson Krennic and Alan Tudyk as the droid K-2SO.
The season’s directorial lineup includes Ariel Kleiman (Partisan, Top of the Lake) at the helm of eps. 1-6, Janus Metz (Armadillo, All the Old Knives) on eps. 7-9, and Alonso Ruizpalacios (A Cop Movie, Narcos: Mexico) on eps. 10-12, with writing duties split between Tony Gilroy, Beau Willimon, Dan Gilroy, and Tom Bissell.
The beginning of the end for Andor kicks off on April 23, with new episodes arriving weekly.
