The teaser trailer for Another Simple Favour, the sequel to Paul Feig’s 2018 stylish mystery-thriller A Simple Favour, has dropped—with Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick back for another round of deception, stylish outfits, and deadly twists. Take a look above.
Lively and Kendrick return as con artist Emily Nelson and the perpetually out-of-her-depth mommy-vlogger-turned-author Stephanie Smothers. This time, the drama unfolds against the backdrop of Capri, Italy, where Emily is preparing for an extravagant wedding to a wealthy Italian businessman. But in true A Simple Favour fashion, things are never as they seem. The teaser hints at buried secrets, a suspicious death, and Stephanie once again getting in over her head—this time, as Emily’s maid of honour.
Henry Golding reprises his role as Emily’s husband-turned-ex, Sean, while Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Elizabeth Perkins, Michele Morrone, Alex Newell, and Allison Janney round out the cast. Director Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, Spy) returns at the helm, with Jessica Sharzer back as co-writer, this time teaming up with Shutter Island scribe Laeta Kalogridis.
