New ‘Antlers’ Trailer & Poster: Keri Russell Faces Terror in Guillermo del Toro-Produced Horror

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

Check out the new Australian trailer that’s arrived for Antlers, the upcoming horror film directed by Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart) and produced by Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water).

The film follows a small-town Oregon teacher (played by Keri Russell) and her brother, the local sheriff (Jesse Plemons), who become entwined with a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) harboring a dangerous secret with frightening consequences.

It’s the first horror film for Cooper, who has directed mostly drama but has no problems going pretty dark with the likes of Out of the Furnace, Black Mass and Hostiles. This looks like a potent, highly moody outing, and the trailer’s smart to not unveil the creature completely. Looking forward to it. Check out the trailer and scroll down for the newly-released poster.

Antlers will be hitting Australian cinemas on April 16 and opening in the U.S. on April 17.
