‘Army of the Dead’ Teaser Trailer: Netflix Teases Zack Snyder’s Zombie Epic

Netflix

The official teaser trailer has dropped for Army of the Dead, Netflix‘s highly anticipated zombie actioner from director Zack Snyder (Man of Steel, 300, Watchmen, BvS).

Dave Bautista leads the cast of this bonkers-looking zombie flick, which follows a group of mercenaries who decide to head into a zombie-filled Las Vegas to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted. A heist action film, in Vegas, with zombies. Take my money.

It’s a teaser, so don’t expect too much in the way of footage. But still, the one-minute look below is slick and entertaining enough to bode well for Snyder’s second zombie flick following his fantastic debut, 2004’s Dawn of the Dead. The visuals, of course, are striking. And Netflix certainly has confidence in the picture, already giving the green light to an Army of the Dead universe that includes a live-action prequel movie and an anime series.

And good news for those hoping for a no-holds-barred Snyder film here. Check out the film’s US rating: “Rated R for strong bloody violence, gore and language throughout, some sexual content and brief nudity/graphic nudity.”

Army of the Dead, also starring Ella Purnell, Ana de la Reguera, Garret Dillahunt, Raúl Castillo, Omari Hardwick, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tig Notaro and Matthias Schweighöfer, will be streaming on Netflix from May 21st.
