That’s a sizeable cast, no doubt what you need if you’re going to have a nice body count in a zombie film. The film follows a group of mercenaries who, following a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, take the ultimate gamble and venture into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted.
Snyder will be directing from a screenplay he wrote with Joby Harold (King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) and Shay Hatten (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum). The film marks a return to the zombie genre for the 300 and Batman v Superman filmmaker, who made his feature directorial debut with the well-received 2004 horror remake Dawn of the Dead.
Army of the Dead is currently filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Production will then be moving to a casino located in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
