Arnold Schwarzenegger Lines Up First Scripted Series with Spy Adventure

Paramount Pictures

Arnold Schwarzengger has lined up his first major role as a series lead.

The Terminator star will be both starring in and executive producing a spy adventure series following a father and daughter. Arnie will be playing the father, with casting reportedly underway for the role of the daughter.

Deadline broke the news, reporting that the hour-long show is being set up at Skydance Television and comes from Nick Santora, known for CBS series Scorpion and Quibi shows Most Dangerous Game and The Fugitive. The project, being developed under an overall deal Santora has at Skydance Television, will be pitched to streaming platforms shortly.

This will be Arnie’s first scripted series. He’s had experience on the reality TV side of things, leading his own season of The Apprentice back in 2017. As for movies, Arnold was most recently seen in Terminator: Dark Fate, will be seen in upcoming action-comedy King Fury II: The Movie as “The President”, and is poised to reunite with Danny DeVito in the comedy sequel Triplets – with Eddie Murphy as the third twin.
