Paramount Pictures has released a very intriguing trailer for Arrival, the next film from Prisoners and Sicario director Denis Villeneuve.
The film sees Amy Adams playing Louise Banks, a linguist who is put in an elite team poised to make contact with extra terrestrials that have arrived on earth.
The plot details have been kept under wraps thus far, and the trailer below serves as more of a teaser until the full trailer drops next week. This one has us pretty giddy with anticipation.
Villeneuve, whose credits also include the Oscar nominated Incendies and the Jake Gyllenhaal-starring Enemy, directs from a screenplay by Eric Heisserer, who penned Lights Out and is attached as a writer on Universal’s upcoming Van Helsing movie.
Arrival, also starring Forest Whitaker, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mark O’Brien and Tzi Ma, will hit Australian cinemas on November 10 and U.S. cinemas on November 11.
