To help celebrate the release of Lights Out, in Australian cinemas July 21, Roadshow Films have handed us 10 double passes to give away!
Produced by renowned filmmaker James Wan (Insidious, The Conjuring), Lights Out tells the story of Rebecca (played by Aussie actress Teresa Palmer), a young woman who managed to leave behind the troubling, terrifying happenings that plagued her as a child. Now, years later, her littler brother is experiencing the same events, horrors that come to life when the lights go out.
If you’ve seen the ridiculously creepy short the film is based on, you’ll know that Lights Out will be no walk in the park, and keeping short film director David F. Sandberg at the helm bodes well for a seriously spooky outing.
Save the date: Lights Out will hit Aussie cinemas on July 21.
From producer James Wan (The Conjuring) comes a tale of an unknown terror that lurks in the dark.
When Rebecca (Teresa Palmer) left home, she thought she left her childhood fears behind. Growing up, she was never really sure of what was and wasn’t real when the lights went out…and now her little brother, Martin (Gabriel Bateman), is experiencing the same unexplained and terrifying events that had once tested her sanity and threatened her safety. A frightening entity with a mysterious attachment to their mother, Sophie (Maria Bello), has re-emerged.
“Lights Out” marks the feature film directorial debut of David F. Sandberg, who directed the film from a screenplay by Eric Heisserer (Final Destination 5), based on Sandberg’s own short film. James Wan, Lawrence Grey and Heisserer produced the film, with Walter Hamada, Dave Neustadter and Richard Brener serving as executive producers.
