That’s right, stop everything. Make sure you’re seated… take a deep breath.
Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for the fourth Avengers film, which we now know has been officially titled Avengers: Endgame. Quick flashback: Infinity War saw Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) deliver the line, “We’re in the endgame now.”
It’s the epic culmination to the sprawling arc we’ve been seeing play out since 2008, and our first look doesn’t disappoint. Don’t expect too much footage, of course, but do expect some very enticing slices that show us how some of our heroes are fairing following the jaw-dropping event that was the dusting.
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) really isn’t doing too well, adrift in space and recording a goodbye for Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) back on Earth. Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) is understandably shaken, as is Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), and it looks like they have a plan. Other heroes appear, plus there are a few interesting reveals… which you can check out for yourself below. The film’s first poster, by the way, can be seen beneath the trailer.
Avengers: Endgame, also starring Josh Brolin, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Don Cheadle, Karen Gillan, Evangeline Lilly, and Brie Larson, among others, will be arriving in Australia on April 25 and hits the US on April 26, 2019.
