Australia: ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is Returning to Cinemas, Here’s What’s New

Currently at $US2.75 billion, Avengers: Endgame is just a bit over $US30 million away from passing James Cameron’s Avatar as the highest grossing film of all time. Here’s how you get it over the line…

Avengers: Endgame is returning to cinemas! That’s right, Marvel fans. The epic MCU chapter will be hitting the big screen again for two days in Australia: this weekend, on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of June.

Disney is calling it the “Bring Back” event, announcing there are a few other incentives to put forward that cash and once again sit through the 3-hour spectacle. The new screenings will come with a video introduction from Anthony Russo, one of the film’s two directors. There’s a look at an “unfinished deleted scene” from the film, which could be something special or something that obviously needed to hit the cutting room floor. Alas, it looks like that deleted scene is the “new footage” that has been hyping up many; extended cut for the home entertainment release then? And there’s a sneak peek at upcoming Spidey film Spider-Man: Far from Home, for those that really can’t wait a week.

Fans are being told to check their local cinemas to see where it’s playing.

Check out the new poster made for this re-release, showcasing Iron Man’s Infinity Gauntlet and featuring the now-sad-AF tagline “We Love You 3000.”
