Take a look at the trailer that Disney+ has dropped for Big Shot, an upcoming series led by John Stamos.
The Full House, Fuller House and General Hospital alum plays Marvyn Korn, a temperamental college basketball coach who gets fired from his job on a major team and is forced to take a teaching and coaching job at an elite all-girls private high school. The cast includes Jessalyn Gilsig (Vikings, Glee) as a good humoured and down-to-earth assistant coach and Yvette Nicole Brown (Community) as the no-nonsense dean of the high school.
The show is co-created by Dean Lorey (Harley Quinn animated series, Arrested Development) and hit TV series producer and writer David E. Kelley, whose many credits include The Undoing, Big Little Lies, The Practice and Ally McBeal. It certainly looks like a show that’s happy to stay in formula – and the recipe looks well put-together; a potentially comfy, feel-good watch. Take a look below.
Big Shot will premiere its first episode (of ten) on Disney+ on April 16th.
