The final trailer has been released for long-awaited threequel Bill & Ted Face the Music, bringing back Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter as the excellent rock-lovin’ time-travellers.
They’ve remained friends over the years, but they’re far from the huge superstars they thought they’d be at this age. Plus, they’re each married and have daughters. But when rocks calls, they must answer, and the pair are soon time travelling again on a mission to steal a song from their future selves – a song that will save the world. Aussie star Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) and Brigette Lundy-Paine (Atypical) play their daughters – and it looks like they’re getting in on the action in a big way.
The cast includes William Sadler (back as Death), Kid Cudi, Kristen Schaal, Anthony Carrigan, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, and Jillian Bell, among others. Franchise writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon returned to pen this third chapter, with direction this time coming from Galaxy Quest and Fun with Dick and Jane helmer Dean Parisot.
Mark that calendar, dudes: Bill & Ted Face the Music will be hitting select Australian cinemas on August 27th and will be released in the U.S. both theatrically and On Demand on September 1st.
