Take a look at the trailer that’s arrived for Black Bear, an Aubrey Plaza, Christopher Abbott and Sarah Gadon starrer that’s been earning some rave reviews on the festival circuit.

Abbott and Gadon play a couple who decide to let an actor/filmmaker (Plaza), who’s looking for inspiration, stay with them in their remote lake house. It doesn’t take long before jealousy and desire is breaking down the dynamic. Or… is this part of her movie and they’re all in on it?

It’s an intriguing-looking film, the trailer below promising twists and turns, along with what critics have said are great performances by the three leads (personally loving Abbott’s work of late). Looking forward to it.

Black Bear, written and directed by indie filmmaker Lawrence Michael Levine, is being released in the US on December 4th.

Black Bear is an intriguing and unexpected comedic thriller starring Aubrey Plaza, Christopher Abbott and Sarah Gadon. At a remote lake house in the Adirondack Mountains, a couple entertains an out-of-town guest looking for inspiration in her filmmaking. The group quickly falls into a calculated game of desire, manipulation, and jealousy, unaware of how dangerously intertwined their lives will soon become.
