Our first look at Marvel‘s highly-anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which we now know is to be the final film in Phase 4, has arrived.

Marvel Studios unveiled a grand teaser trailer for the film at Comic-Con’s Hall H before releasing it to the world online. An emotional look at the film, which – as the synopsis below confirms – deals directly with the loss of King T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) and has the Wakandans facing a new threat. Among the key new faces is Tenoch Huert as Namor, the king of a hidden undersea nation.

Black Panther director Ryan Coogler is back at the helm, working from a screenplay he once again penned with Joe Robert Cole.

In Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livanalli.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever opens in Australian cinemas on November 10th and U.S. cinemas on November 11th.
