Yes, a freakin’ Breaking Bad movie is officially on the way to Netflix.
There have been rumours circling for ages, but we can all rest assured that a Breaking Bad movie is indeed coming. Streaming giant Netflix has released a teaser trailer for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, giving us all a very enticing taste of what could be in store.
The first bit of marketing below provides a bit of info on what one Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) has been up to since the end of Breaking Bad and, well, it sure doesn’t sound like he’s had a great time. He’s on the run after having being captured and forced to cook drugs. As Netflix’s synopsis reads, he “must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future.”
BB creator Vince Gilligan is attached as both writer and director here, which should bode well for this continuation of one of the best television series to ever grace our screens. Expectations will be high for this; please, please, please be good.
