Sometimes, having kids really sucks.
At least that’s part of what Paul and Ally are dealing with the upcoming dramedy series Breeders, starring Martin Freeman and Daisy Haggard as a couple dealing with full-time jobs, a mortgage and young children. And as if their hands weren’t already full enough, Ally’s estranged father turns up.
It looks like a charmer; an amusing show on the ups and downs of parenthood and family, and… let’s face it: I’d watch anything with Freeman at this point. Freeman created the series with Simon Blackwell and Chris Addison, who worked as executive producers on Veep.
Breeders will be hitting FX on March 2.
FX’s Breeders is an uncompromising comedy that explores the lives of Paul (Martin Freeman) and Ally (Daisy Haggard) as they juggle full-time careers, aging parents, a mortgage and the unenviable curveballs of parenting their young children. When Ally’s estranged father appears on their doorstep, the family essentially takes on a third child – but this one comes with baggage and opinions.
