Greg Davies returns as a comedic crime scene cleaner. Following the huge success of the first season launched in 2022, The Cleaner is back for a second season of dark comedy and celebrity guest appearances. BAFTA award winner Greg Davies (Inbetweeners, Taskmaster) plays Paul ‘Wicky’ Wickstead, a chatty crime scene cleaning technician. In his job, he encounters the most unusual characters, from people who knew the victims to the occasional murderer returning to the scene of crime.
The hilarious crime comedy is based on the multi-award-winning German cult hit Der Tatortreiniger. The first season saw guest appearances from Helena Bonham Carter (Fight Club, Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables) ,and David Mitchell (Peep Show, Ambassadors).
