‘The Broken Hearts Gallery’ Trailer: Geraldine Viswanathan & Dacre Montgomery Rom-Com Finds Art in Letting Go

Take a look at the trailer that’s arrived for The Broken Hearts Gallery, an upcoming romantic-comedy starring Geraldine Viswanathan (Blockers) and Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things, Power Rangers).

Viswanathan plays a young woman who has been struggling after being dumped by her latest boyfriend. With the help of nice guy Nick (Montgomery), whom she meets by chance, she decides to start a gallery where people can leave trinkets from past relationships. It soon goes viral.

This marks the feature debut for writer-director Natalie Krinsky, who worked as a writer and story editor on The CW series Gossip Girl. The behind-the-scenes team also includes Selena Gomez as executive producer.

Also starring Utkarsh Ambudkar, Molly Gordon, Phillipa Soo, Suki Waterhouse, Arturo Castro, Ego Nwodim, Taylor Hill, and Bernadette Peters, The Broken Hearts Gallery will open in Australian cinemas on July 16 and U.S. cinemas on July 17.

What if you saved a souvenir from every relationship you’ve ever been in? THE BROKEN HEARTS GALLERY follows the always unique Lucy (Geraldine Viswanathan), a 20-something art gallery assistant living in New York City, who also happens to be an emotional hoarder. After she gets dumped by her latest boyfriend, Lucy is inspired to create The Broken Heart Gallery, a pop-up space for the items love has left behind. Word of the gallery spreads, encouraging a movement and a fresh start for all the romantics out there, including Lucy herself.
