“It’s not villain versus hero; it’s friends, it’s family,” says Chris Evans in this great little Captain America: Civil War featurette released with Marvel’s Blu-Ray Phase Two box set.
This new bit of marketing gives us a quick rundown as to what we can expect going in, while giving us more snippets from the film and some great behind-the-scenes footage.
That first trailer was a doozy, more than enticing us for what is bound to be one hell of an important chapter in the MCU. As co-director Joe Russo says: “It’s going to challenge the way you think about Tony Stark, it’s going to challenge the way you think about Steve Rogers, and when you come out of that film nothing will be the same.”
Take our money.
Captain America: Civil War, with a cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chadwick Boseman, Elizabeth Olsen, Scarlett Johannson and Anthony Mackie, opens in Australia on April 29 and in the U.S. on May 6.
