The show follows a young woman (Sivan Alyra Rose) who suffers a heart attack and is given a new chance at life when she is given a heart transplant. Unfortunately for her, the gift she has received may be more of a curse. As she gets to know the family of the donor… she begins to develop some of the deceased girl’s deeply sinister personality traits. The donor’s parents are played by Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn, and boy are they unsettling.
This could be a deliciously uncomfortable watch. It’s a solid trailer, escalating the tension with increasingly more macabre touches and hinting at a verrry dark plot. We’re in.
Chambers, also starring Lilliya Reid, Nicholas Galitzine, Kyanna Simone Simpson, Lilli Kay, Sarah Mezzanotte, and Griffin Powell-Arcand, hits Netflix on April 26.
