Following that enticing teaser trailer unveiled in May, Apple TV+ has now dropped the exciting official trailer for Chief of War, a Jason Momoa-led action-drama series set in late 18th-century Hawai‘i. Watch the trailer above and learn more below.
Momoa plays Ka‘iana, a revered fighter known as “the first of our people,” standing at the crossroads of tradition and invasion. “If this island is divided, this kingdom will fall,” he warns early in the trailer, setting the tone for a story fuelled by cultural legacy, loyalty, and resistance. As the trailer ends, our warrior underscores the weight of what he is fighting for: “Tomorrow we face Gods and men to build a kingdom. No matter what happens to me, this is your home.”
