First Clip from Jon Favreau’s Chef

The first clip has been released from Chef, the latest film from director Jon Favreau. Favreau also wrote and stars in this new comedy, which sees the director take a step back from the big films (Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Cowboys & Aliens) to the indie stylings of his early films, à la Swingers and Made. Chef tells the story of Carl Casper (Favreau), a chef who loses his restaurant job. He starts up a food truck in an effort to reclaim his creative promise, while piecing back together his estranged family, including his ex-wife (Sofia Vergara) and his son (Emjay Anthony). It’s an amusing little clip, featuring Favreau and his two buddies, John Leguizamo and Bobby Cannavale, discussing how to reply to Twitter haters.

The film also stars Dustin Hoffman, Oliver Platt, Scarlett Johansson and Robert Downey Jr.
