A new clip has been released from Lars von Trier’s erotic epic Nymphomaniac. The clip doesn’t show too much. It features a tracking shot of a woman walking towards a building, while Stellan Skarsgard narrates an excerpt from The Fall of the House of Usher. The buzz has been steadily building for Lars’ next picture, especially the highly publicized sex that the film will contain.

Nymphomaniac stars Charlotte Gainsbourg as Joe, a self-diagnosed nymphomaniac who recounts her erotic life story to Seligman (Stellan Skarsgard), an old, charming bachelor who finds Joe beaten up in an alley.

The film is to be released in two parts, amounting to five hours.

The following clip comes from Chapter 4 of the film: Delirium.

Shia LaBeouf, Christian Slater, Jamie Bell, Willem Dafoe, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Connie Nielsen, and Udo Kier will also star in the erotic-drama.

According to CinemaBlend:

All these chapter teases will eventually lead to Nymphomaniac’s world premiere on Christmas Day in von Trier’s native Denmark. Magnolia Pictures will be distributing the erotic drama that will feature hardcore sex. Look for it to hit the U.S. early next year.
