As the Coronavirus pandemic unfolds, more movie studios and distributors are being forced to rejig release schedules.
A number of big films have now been pulled from their planned release dates. Lower cinema attendance is occurring and more is on the horizon for a number of markets as health warnings are released and limitations are placed on various levels of public gatherings. In Italy and China, cinemas have already closed their doors.
The release of James Bond movie No Time to Die was moved in early March, delayed around seven months from April to November. And now being delayed…
A Quiet Place: Part II – was to be released in Australia March 19th and the U.S. on March 20th. No new release date announced.
Regarding the delay of A Quiet Place: Part II, Paramount Pictures released the following statement:
After much consideration, and in light of the ongoing and developing situation concerning coronavirus and restrictions on global travel and public gatherings, Paramount Pictures will be moving the worldwide release of A Quiet Place Part II. We believe in and support the theatrical experience, and we look forward to bringing this film to audiences this year once we have a better understanding of the impact of this pandemic on the global theatrical marketplace
Fast & Furious9 – was to be released in Australia May 21st and the U.S. on May 22nd. Now moved back almost a year to April 2021.

Mulan – was to be released in Australia March 26th and the U.S. on March 27th. No new release date announced.
The New Mutants – was to be released in Australia April 3rd and the U.S. on April 9th. No new release date announced. This is the fifth time this X-Men spin-off has been delayed.
Peter Rabbit 2 – was to be released in Australia March 19th and the U.S. on April 3rd. No new release date announced.
Antlers – was to be released in Australia April 16th and the U.S. on April 17th. No new release date announced.
