A24 has released the first Cut Bank trailer, giving us a look at the upcoming thriller starring Liam Hemsworth, Teresa Palmer, and quite the impressive cast.
Cut Bank tells of Dwyane (Hemsworth), a young man who manages to catch a crime on camera. He decides to turn the situation into a get-rich-quick scheme to get him and gal (Teresa Palmer) out of town, but, of course, everything hits the fan pretty quickly.
We’re surprised to have not heard much about this one up until now. The great cast, which includes John Malkovich, Billy Bob Thornton, Bruce Dern, Michael Stuhlbarg and Oliver Platt, look to benefit from a layered plot and what appears to be a tense tone. We’re intrigued as to why there hasn’t been much hype, but we’ll find out when it hits DIRECTV on February 26 and goes on to a limited U.S. theatrical released on April 3.
