Deliver Us from Evil Clip

The first clip has been released from Deliver Us from Evil, the upcoming horror film from director Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Sinister). Based on the real-life cases of New York police officer Ralph Sarchie, Deliver Us from Evil tells the story of a cop (Eric Bana) who joins forces with an unconventional priest (Edgar Ramirez) in order to investigate a series of disturbing and inexplicable crimes. The clip sees Ralph’s daughter playing with a creepy jack-in-the-box, and Olivia Munn’s Jen Sarchie running upstairs to investigate her daughter’s screams. There’s no pay off per se in this snippet, but it’s a good demonstration of the film’s tense stylings. We’re looking forward to checking this one out.
