Watch a 1-Hour Discussion with Martin Scorsese, Todd Phillips, Greta Gerwig and More

The latest roundtable directors discussion from The Hollywood Reporter has arrived.

This year, acclaimed filmmaker Martin Scorsese (The Irishman), Todd Phillips (Joker), Greta Gerwig (Little Women), Lulu Wang (The Farewell), Noah Baumbach (Marriage Story), and Fernando Meirelles (The Two Popes) sit down with THR executive editor Stephen Galloway in a one-hour discussion on a range of things related to their films and the industry. Among the topics discussed: How the industry is changing with streaming services such as Netflix, Scorsese’s much-publicised comments on superhero movies, the difficulty of getting Joker made,  how filmmaking affects relationships (Gerwig and Baumbach are partners), and more.

As usual, it’s a great watch, and a must-see for those interested in filmmaking and fans of these directors. Enjoy.
