‘Echo Valley’ Trailer: Julianne Moore Covers Up a Crime for Sydney Sweeney in Apple Thriller

The official trailer has arrived for Echo Valley, an upcoming Apple TV+ thriller that sees Julianne Moore and Sydney Sweeney caught in a spiralling nightmare of blood, guilt, and maternal protection. Take a look above and learn more below.

Directed by BAFTA-winner Michael Pearce (Beast, Encounter) and written by Mare of Easttown creator Brad Ingelsby, Echo Valley begins with a stormy night and a sudden knock at the door. Kate (Moore), a grieving mother trying to hold her quiet Pennsylvania horse farm together, opens it to find her daughter Claire (Sweeney) — hysterical, soaked in rain, and covered in blood.

“He was hurting me,” Claire confesses in the trailer. “I picked up a rock and I hit him.”

That moment kicks off a tense and emotional descent as Kate, without hesitation, takes over — wrapping the body, loading the car, and heading to the lake in an attempt to erase any trace of the crime. “I took care of it — all of it,” she later tells her daughter.

Of course, there’s more to the story than a simple cover-up. Domhnall Gleeson plays a quietly menacing figure who knows far more than he’s letting on. “I know what you did,” he warns Kate. “I make one call, and all roads lead back to you.”

The film also stars Kyle MacLachlan, Fiona Shaw, and Edmund Donovan. It’s produced by Ridley Scott and Michael Pruss of Scott Free Films, along with Kevin J. Walsh and Ingelsby.

Hopefully we’re in for a tense, well-performed thriller here. We’ll find out when Echo Valley premieres on Apple TV+ on June 13.
