Electro Arrives in Spider-Man 2 Comic-Con Teaser

Check out the first teaser for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In this Comic-Con teaser we get a quick look at Jamie Foxx as Electro. It’s quick, but it’s nevertheless awesome. Foxx looks pretty damn freaky too. “You want to know how powerful I am? Well, I want to know too. I’m Electro.”

Official Synopsis:

In “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy — between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away — but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

While The Amazing Spider-Man did pretty well both critically and at the box office, many complained that it was way too early to begin a new franchise. Either way, it was a pretty good flick. Marc Webb (500 Days Of Summer) is a good director and we think he’ll deliver a darker and more serious film that should surpass the success of his first Spidey film.

The film will star Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Dane DeHaan (as Harry Osborn), Paul Giamatti (as The Rhino), Chris Cooper (as Norman Osborn) and Sally Field.
