Extended ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ International Trailer Shows Off a Lot of Footage

20th Century Fox

Check out an extended Spanish-English language trailer released for Terminator: Dark Fate, offering our best look at the film so far.

The sixth film in the franchise brushes aside the films that came after T2: Judgement Day and serves instead as a threequel, somewhat similar to what last year’s Halloween did. Arnold Schwarzenegger stays on with the franchise, although this time he’s reuniting with his original co-star Linda Hamilton, reprising her role as Sarah Connor. “I hunt Terminators. Enough of a resume for you?” Connor, who’s looking more hardened than ever, says in the trailer below.

As the extended look shows, the plot follows another young person whose life holds the key to the world’s fate. Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) is the target of a new Terminator, played Gabriel Luna. Mackenzie Davis plays an “enhanced human” out to protect Dani, and the original Terminator and Sarah are soon in the fight.

Let’s hope for quality; something we really need after the middling to poor entries churned out since James Cameron’s second. Cameron is on board as producer here and is one of the names with a ‘story by’ credit. Directing is Deadpool helmer Tim Miller.

Terminator: Dark Fate will arrive in Australia on October 31 and hits the US on November 1.

And a bit more footage in an IMAX teaser:

Linda Hamilton (“Sarah Connor”) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (“T-800”) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate (#TerminatorDarkFate) also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta.
