‘Exterritorial’ Trailer: Netflix’s German Action-Thriller Has a Mother Losing Her Son… in the U.S. Consulate

Netflix has unveiled the trailer for Exterritorial, a German-language action-thriller that has a mother’s son vanish in the U.S. consulate in Frankfrut. Well, bad luck for whoever’s behind this – she’s a former Special Forces soldier. Take a look above.

Our heroine is thrown into bureaucratic stonewalling and high-stakes paranoia in this tense-looking pic. Jeanne Goursaud, whose previous credits include Netflix series Blood Coast and Barbarians, plays the mother who finds herself in the horrifying predicament. When her son disappears, no one, not even stranger, remembers seeing him at all. Plus, German authorities can’t help her inside extraterritorial ground. With her son’s life on the line, she makes the only choice she can: she stays, moving deeper into the consulate’s winding halls and into the heart of a growing conspiracy.

The film is directed and written by Christian Zübert (Lommbock), with a cast that includes Dougray Scott as a steely head of security and Lera Abova as a mysterious consulate detainee who may—or may not—be an ally.

Exterritorial will be streaming on Netflix from April 30th.
