Take a look at the new trailer to arrive for upcoming Zac Efron-starring Ted Bundy movie Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile.
Netflix picked up the film at Sundance, forking out a reported $US9 million for distribution rights. They have released an effective new trailer for the drama-thriller, which follows the story of the infamous serial killer from the point of view of his longtime girlfriend, played by Lily Collins.
Efron looks to be a decent choice to play Bundy, playing with his good looks and charm to unsettling effect. Early reviews are somewhat mixed, with some praising the film’s avoidance of sensationalism and focus on emotion, and others citing tonal emptiness and a minimising of Bundy’s maliciousness. We’ll see how the film fares when it hits Netflix on May 3.
