‘F is for Family’ Season 4 Trailer: The Murphys Are in for More Dysfunction in Bill Burr’s Animated Netflix Series

The trailer has arrived for the fourth season of, in this writer’s opinion, one of the best animated shows at the moment.

There’s no shortage of dysfunction in the Murphy household – and things won’t be getting any easier for Frank and his family in F is for Family season 4. First of all, Frank’s dad turns up to live with them, bringing back resentment and placing an unwanted spotlight on Frank’s own parenting. There’s also the fact that Sue’s due date isn’t far off. How’s Frank dealing? Perhaps it’s summed up with his response to waking up from a nightmare that has him about to die in a fiery plane crash: “Ahh sh-t. I’m still alive?!”

It’s a very funny show, but what makes it stand out is its raw emotion and undeniable heart. As Frank often finds, life can often suck, and family can be infuriating, but loved ones can make it all worth it. There’s also the fantastic voice cast, which includes Bill Burr – the show’s co-creator – as Frank, Laura Dern as Sue, Justin Long as Kevin, Debi Derryberry as Maureen, Haley Reinhart as Bill and Sam Rockwell as Vic, among others.

Mark the date: F is for Family season 4 hits Netflix on June 12.

From comedian Bill Burr and EmmyⓇ award-winner Michael Price, F is for Family transports viewers back to the 1970s, a time when political correctness, helicopter parenting and indoor smoking bans weren’t part of anyone’s vocabulary, let alone the norm. Featuring the voices of Burr, Laura Dern, Justin Long, Sam Rockwell and more.
