‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ Trailer: Magic, Monsters and Boarding School in Netflix Fantasy Series

Take a look at the trailer that’s arrived for Netflix fantasy series Fate: The Winx Saga.

A live-action adaptation of the Italian-US Nickelodeon animated series Winx Club, the series tells the coming-of-age journey of five fairies attending Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld. There they must learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence.

The trailer will quickly let you know if you’re the target audience for the series, which looks to be ticking off a number of the fantasy-magic-romance-Y.A. elements that have proven to be hit makers over the years. The show’s creator, Brian Young, certainly has experience in the field, having previously worked as a staff writer and co-executive producer on hit CW series The Vampire Diaries.

Fate: The Winx Saga, starring Abigail Cowen, Hannah van der Westhuysen, Precious Mustapha, Eliot Salt, and Elisha Applebaum, among others, will be streaming on Netflix from January 22nd.
