Take a look at the five-minute preview for the Veronica Mars movie that showed at Comic-Con. Fans all over the world will no doubt be ecstatic that this film is now a reality. 91,858 fans put money towards the Kickstarter campaign, donating $5,702,153 – easily passing their aim of $2,000,000.

It’s like a featurette, offering a behind-the-scenes look, interviews with the cast and crew, and even interviews with Kickstarter backers that paid to have walk-on roles in the film. “I can tell you that it sort of has a Godfather III theme to it,” director RobThomas said of the teasing footage, “Which is odd, because why not pick Godfather II? It was better. … I can tell you [Bell’s Veronica character] has not worked as a private detective since the last time you saw her. Part of this movie is her getting back into this life she thought she left behind.”
The actual teaser trailer starts at 3:08.
Describing her first day back on set, Kristen Bell talked about her first piece of dialogue. “My first line back was, ‘Charming drink names, I can’t decide between a beast with two backs or a donkey punch. … Ooooh, do you think they’d let me order a virgin devirginator?'”
