StudioCanal has released the trailer for Follow Me, an upcoming horror-thriller from Escape Room (2017) director Will Wernick.

Keegan Allen (Pretty Little Liars) plays social media star Cole, who travels with buddies to Moscow to film new content for his hit VLOG. He and his friends are convinced to join a game that’s promising mystery and thrills, but it’s far more deadly than any of them could have imagined. As the line between real life and social media is blurred, the group must fight to escape, and survive.

Cue what look like Saw-esque traps and kills as these viral-hungry people get more than they bargained for. It’s a bit of a familiar formula, but it can certainly provide some macabre entertainment if done right.

Also starring Holland Roden, Denzel Whitaker, Ronen Rubinstein, Pasha Lychnikoff, George Janko, Siya Daniyar and Dimiter D. Marinov, Follow Me will be opening in limited Australian cinemas on July 16.
