Whoa! So, Daenerys really lost her sh*t huh.

Episode five of Game of Thrones‘ final season saw King’s Landing and most of its inhabitants annihilated when Daenerys Targaryen went all out “Mad Queen,” refusing to let Cersei’s (Lena Headey) army simply surrender and proceeding to lay waste to everything in sight with her dragon’s fire. So. Much. Fire. It was a polarising episode. Fan debates are raging online as to the quality of that ep and this season as a whole; suffice it to say that many aren’t happy with what’s been unfolding as the show comes to a close.

Regardless, here we are, on the verge of the final episode of Game of Thrones. HBO has released a quick trailer for the finale, which finds the dust settling on King’s Landing and Danerys finally taking the throne with the support of what’s left of the Dothraki and the Unsullied. Of course, it isn’t that simple, since her crazy actions have pissed off many – including Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), Arya (Maise Williams), and perhaps most importantly, Jon (Kit Harington).

Will the Queen of Dragons pay the ultimate price? Will Jon finally embrace his place on the throne? What role will Sansa play? Will Brienne give Tormund a chance now that Jaime is seemingly out of the picture? And will Jon please give Ghost a pat?! 😭 One episode left…
