A trailer has dropped for Get a Job, an upcoming Miles Teller and Anna Kendrick-starring comedy that was shot back in 2012.
Get a Job follows the ups and downs of Will (Teller) and Jillian (Kendrick), who find out, as many of us did, that getting a career path going once you graduate isn’t very easy.
Directed by Dylan Kidd, who previously brought us Rodger Dodger and P.S., this slice-of-life comedy looks to be ticking off various cliches and tropes we’re used to seeing, but it still isn’t clear why CBS Films and Lionsgate Premiere decided to shelf the film for this long. It’s highly possible the film doesn’t have much going for it apart from its two leads, which made this film before Whiplash and Pitch Perfect got them each recognition.
Get a Job, which does have a solid supporting cast, including Bryan Cranston, Alison Brie, Marcia Gay Harden, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Ravi Patel, Jorge Garcia, and Nicholas Braun, opens in the U.S. on March 25.
Synopsis for Get A Job:
Miles Teller, Anna Kendrick, and Bryan Cranston star in this wickedly funny comedy about making it in the real world. Life after college graduation is not exactly going as planned for Will (Teller) and Jillian (Kendrick) who find themselves lost in a sea of increasingly strange jobs. But with help from their family (Cranston), friends and coworkers they soon discover that the most important (and hilarious) adventures are the ones that we don’t see coming.
