We’re thrilled to announce a special giveaway for anime fans! Thanks to Kismet Movies, we have five double passes to give away for Ghost Cat Anzu, a heartwarming and whimsical animated film set to hit Australian cinemas on December 5th.

A winner of Best Animation at the Fantasia Film Festival 2024, Ghost Cat Anzu is a unique blend of supernatural folklore and coming-of-age storytelling. Directed by Yōko Kuno and Nobuhiro Yamashita, and produced by Shin-Ei Animation and Miyu Productions, the film is based on the beloved manga by Takashi Imashir.

The story follows Karin, an 11-year-old girl left in a small Japanese town by her father. Taken in by her grandfather, a monk, Karin finds herself under the watchful eye of Anzu, a mischievous ghost cat. Sparks fly as the spirited pair struggle to get along, but their journey together leads to an unexpected bond filled with humour and heartfelt moments.
