Paramount Pictures has unveiled yet another quick teaser for Ghost in the Shell, the upcoming adaptation of the much-loved manga franchise.
Scarlett Johannson plays the Major, a special ops human-cyborg in charge of elite task force Section 9. The team goes head to head with an enemy who is determined to take down Hanka Robotics advancements in cyber tech.
As with those oh-so short “Glitch Spots” released in September, this new tidbit doesn’t clear up much of what we’ll be in for, but it does give us our first look at the Major in action. She’s seen laying the smackdown to some unlucky goon, and a certain ability is revealed.
We’ll know more when the first trailer drops on November 13 (US date).
Ghost in the Shell, also starring Pilou Asbæk, Michael Pitt, Juliette Binoche, Kaori Momoi, Rila Fukushima, Chin Han, Danusia Samal, Lasarus Ratuere, Yutaka Izumihara, and Tuwanda Manyimo, arrives in Australia on March 30 and hits the US on March 31.
