‘The Gifted’ Teaser Trailer Unveils Bryan Singer’s X-Men TV Show

Here’s your first look at The Gifted, the upcoming Marvel series from Matt Nix (Burn Notice) and X-Men movies director Bryan Singer.

We’ve been hearing about this one for a while now, and our first look has now arrived in the form of intriguing teaser trailer. The series follows a suburban couple – True Blood actor Stephen Moyer and Person of Interest actress Amy Acker – whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. They family goes on the run, joining an underground network of mutants and coming to terms with the fact they will now have to fight to survive.

20th Century Fox TV and Marvel TV are behind the series, which will feature a number of X-Men comic book characters. The supporting cast includes Emma Dumont, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Blair Redford, Coby Bell, John Proudstar, Percy Hynes White and Natalie Alyn Lind.

Fox now has both a Marvel series and a DC series, with Gotham’s third season continuing on in April and a fourth season expected to be greenlit.

The first full trailer for The Gifted will drop on May 15. Stay tuned.
