To celebrate the release of the Simon Pegg-starring comedy Absolutely Anything, in Aussie cinemas from November 19, the great folks at Icon Film Distribution have handed us double passes to give away to our Australia-based readers!
Marking a Monty Python reunion of sorts, with Life of Brian and The Meaning of Life writer-director Terry Jones at the helm and a voice cast that includes John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle and Michael Palin, Absolutely Anything sees Pegg star as an everyday man who is given absolute power by aliens. Unbeknownst to him, what he does with this power will determine whether or not these aliens destroy the Earth.
Absolutely Anything is also the final project Robin Williams was attached to before his tragic departure. The actor, who gave an absolutely brilliant performance voicing the Genie in Disney’s Aladdin, here voices Dennis, Pegg’s dog.
