Left to Right: Shōgun, The Brutalist, The Substance

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards unfolded with a mix of expected victories and surprising outcomes, spotlighting a wide range of stories and performances from across film and television.

Leading the night on the Drama side of film was The Brutalist, which took home three major awards, including Best Film – Drama, Best Director for Brady Corbet, and Best Male Actor for Adrien Brody. Meanwhile, Netflix‘s Emilia Pérez dominated the musical or comedy categories, earning four awards, including Best Film – Musical or Comedy and a supporting actor win for Zoe Saldaña.
