The second Gone Girl trailer has been released, somehow getting us further excited for the upcoming dramatic thriller. Directed by the one and only David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Social Network), Gone Girl sees Ben Affleck as a widow accused of murdering his wife (Rosamund Pike). This new trailer beautifully throws up a ton of clues as to why he could be guilty and why he couldn’t. Neil Patrick Harris may have something to do with the latter. It’s all very intriguing, with Fincher’s directorial fingerprint firmly stamped across the proceedings. We can’t wait.
Starring Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Kim Dickens, Patrick Fugit, Carrie Coon and David Clennon.
