Netflix has dropped a teaser trailer for Gypsy, an upcoming series starring Naomi Watts.
The two-time Oscar nominee plays Jean, a Manhattan therapist with a number of dark secrets, leading a seemingly picturesque life while developing intimate and illicit relationships with the people in her patients’ lives.
Directing the series is Sam Taylor-Johnson (Fifty Shades Of Grey), Victoria Mahoney (Power) and Coky Giedroyc (Penny Dreadful). Watts is executive producing alongside Lisa Rubin, Sean Jablonski, and Liza Chasin.
It’s an enticing teaser, hinting at what appears to be an intriguing premise and quite the role for Watts. Count us in.
All 10 episodes of Gypsy will be hitting the streaming giant on June 30.
